For example, grocery store sales were up 8.6 percent from April 2021, but were slightly down from March 2022: $68,286 million compared to $68,560 million (not adjusted for inflation). Spending at food service places increased from March to April: $86,421 million compared to $84,643 million. Are we finally seeing Food-At-Home better balanced with Food-Away-From-Home? As you may have noticed, answering this question has been a personal preoccupation. (More and more)
